Dr. Mansour received both his M.D. and M.Sc. degrees from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. He came to the USA to complete his fellowship in vitreoretinal and laser eye surgery at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, and then was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Stanford University. He was also director of the retina service as Associate Chief of the Division of Ophthalmology at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. He remained there until he joined the faculty at George Washington University as Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology in 2003.

Dr. Mansour has been involved in several areas of both basic science and clinical retinal research, and has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences. He has also authored and co-authored several articles in peer review journals, and has authored several chapters in both medical and ophthalmology textbooks. Dr. Mansour is board certified in ophthalmology from the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American College of Surgeons. Nathan Radcliffe, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist who is an experienced glaucoma and cataract surgeon. Prior to June of 2014, Dr. Radcliffe served as the Director of the Glaucoma Service at Weill Cornell Medical College for six years. During his time in academics, Dr. Radcliffe managed the most challenging cataract and glaucoma cases referred from all over the world, published over 40 peer reviewed publications in glaucoma research, gave hundreds lectures on glaucoma and cataract to thousands of ophthalmologists in 40 states and over a dozen different countries, and won awards for his surgical videos and teaching.


Dr. Radcliffe serves on the Skills Transfers Advisory Committee for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, is the Chair of the Multimedia Committee for the American Glaucoma Society and serves on the Glaucoma Clinical Committee for the Association of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. The micropulse mode of laser application, conceptualized by A/Professor Paul Chew is one of the innovative laser glaucoma surgeries where Dr. Aquino is very actively involved until now. She had presented the clinical outcomes of this new laser procedure in a number of glaucoma congresses such as Association for Research in Vision & Ophthalmology (ARVO), World Glaucoma Congress, International Congress of Glaucoma Surgery (ICGS), Australian & New Zealand Glaucoma Interest Group (ANZGIG). She co-authored the pilot study published in Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, 2010. She was the 1st author of the most recent comparative study on micropulse & continuous wave diode laser in glaucoma successfully accepted for publication (e-published ahead of print in CEO, May 2014).

Johnny Tang, M.D. is a board certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in medical, inflammatory and hereditary diseases of the macula, retina and vitreous. After completing an ophthalmology residency at the North Shore University-Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident, Dr. Tang completed fellowship training in hereditary eye diseases at the prestigious National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health. He also completed fellowship training in vitreoretinal medicine, surgery and uveitis at the Schepens Eye Research Institute/Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute and Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institute with C. Stephen Foster, M.D.

El doctor Sergio Rojas es profesor y jefe de enseñanza del departamento de retina del hospital de la Luz en la ciudad de México, Profesor adjunto del programa de retina y vítreo por parte de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Su entrenamiento en Oftalmología y Retina fueron desarrollados en el mismo hospital, completando su entrenamiento en cirugía de mácula en los hospitales Cleveland Clinic Fundation, Mass. Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston Harvard University y Emory Hospital Center, Emory university.

El Dr. Sergio ha servido como presidente de la Asociación Mexicana de Retina (AMR), actualmente es el Delegado internacional por México para la American Society Retina Specialists (ASRS). Es el editor de la 2ª edición del libro Retina y Vítreo de la AMR y ponente internacional en varios países.
